FAQs

Answers to common questions

What do we need to get started?

We need access to two things to maintain and support a WordPress website for our clients. These are: –

1. Administrator access to the WordPress dashboard
You can either create a new admin logon for us, or share your admin credentials and we’ll create a new admin user.
2. Access to the website hosting
This is usually access to cPanel or Plesk hosting, which will give us the access to the site files and databases that we need to completely maintain and support your website.

In some circumstances we may request access to your domain management registrar, and if you’re utilising a Content Delivery Network (CDN) we may need that too. This is usually required if we’re investigating a problem with your site.

Is there a money back guarantee?

Our maintenance plans all come with a 1 month money back guarantee. If for any reason you wish to cancel your maintenance service before the end of your first maintenance month, we’ll refund 100% of your monthly fee – no questions asked.

Can I have multiple sites maintained?

Yes of course! Each WordPress maintenance plan covers one website, though if you sign up for more than one maintenance plan we’ll give you a 10% discount on ALL of your maintenance services.

How do I cancel my maintenance plan?

None of our maintenance plans lock you into a long term contract. Our maintenance plans are charged on a month by month basis (eg., you are invoiced at the start of the month for the upcoming month). If you wish to cancel your plan, simply let us know and we’ll set your plan to finish at the end of the month. Our only requirement is that you see out the remainder or the current service month.

What's a "Small Development Task"?

Any development task approximately 20 minutes or less is considered a small development task. This usually includes on page changes such as minor design changes, colours, styles, images, etc. Or a Posting Task such as a new blog post where you have provided the content (text, images and design layout) and we’ll create the post and publish it for you.  Please note that unutilised time does not roll over into the next month.
